Nitrogen Source Influences the Effect of Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) on Macadamia integrifolia

The potential of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) to improve growth and nutrient acquisition has received increased attention. This study investigated the synergistic effects combining PGPR Paraburkholderia sp. SOS3 with addition inorganic N fertilizer (iN) or a combined application organic manure-based (iNoN) at low high levels fertilization on Macadamia integrifolia seedling growth. We studied growth, mineral in soil-leachate, media physicochemical microbial characteristics. Growth seedlings fertilized iNoN level (iNoN 100) was enhanced by inoculation, an increase 32% total biomass 43% uptake, compared uninoculated seedlings.
